The Wyoming Food Stamps program is working toward ensuring that all people who are eligible for funding receive the benefits they need. The program is overseen by the Department of Family Services whose mission it is to ensure that nutrition levels for low income individuals and families are raised to a more healthy level.
To qualify for the Food Stamps program an applicant must show that he or she is an American citizen, residing in the state of Wyoming. Applicants must also have assets of less than two thousand dollars. The qualifying annual income is based on the number of people living together in the home.
To apply for benefits it is necessary to complete an application and submit it for approval. You can do so in person, by fax, by mail or online. If you need help answering the questions, a representative will be available for assistance. After an application has been submitted, an interview will be scheduled where you will have to bring proof of your residency in Wyoming and American citizenship.
